Job summary

TRIIIO Recruitment partners with an award-winning Australian financial services firm to hire a senior software engineer. You will design and build microservices, implement event-driven architectures, and drive cloud-based solutions on AWS using Docker and ECS.

The role demands 7+ years of experience, strong .NET Framework 4.5 and .NET Core/.NET 5+, Git workflows, and a proactive Agile/Scrum mindset. On-site in Kuala Lumpur, you will mentor teams, participate in CI/CD, TDD, and help craft

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience, including senior or lead responsibilities.
• Strong experience in Agile/Scrum teams and modern delivery environments.
• Proficiency in .NET Framework 4.5 and .NET Core/.NET 5+ (ASP.NET Core, EF).
• Proven experience building microservices and event-driven systems (e.g., Apache Kafka).
• Strong AWS-based cloud solutions (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS, IAM), including containerized deployments (Docker, ECS).
• Experience with Git-based workflows, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements analysis to deployment.
• Design, develop, and maintain microservices, event-driven systems, and container-based applications.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship through code reviews.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, QA, and other teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Actively contribute to Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Promote CI/CD, TDD, and observability for system monitoring.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following SOLID principles.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Design and implement scalable cloud solutions leveraging AWS services, with a focus on Docker and ECS orchestration.

• This role follows the Australian public holiday. You are required to work on Malaysian public holiday and you will be compensated for these days with additional annual leave.
• This is full onsite role.
• Your working hours starts between 6.00 am to 9.00 am and ends between 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm
