Job summary

KPMG in Malaysia invites motivated students to join its Technology Assurance – IT Audit internship. You will work alongside professionals delivering technology-enabled audit services, gaining hands-on exposure to the intersection of technology, audit, and business in real client environments.

The internship offers mentorship from experienced IT Audit professionals, exposure to data analytics, and a pathway toward professional certifications such as CISA.

Qualifications

• Undergraduates who have completed at least two years of a degree in IT or Accounting related field.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Active involvement in extracurricular activities with leadership qualities.
• Available for an internship placement of 4 to 6 months.
• Strong interest in IT Audit, technology, and accounting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, fieldwork, and execution of IT audit engagements.
• Prepare audit working papers and support documentation.
• Apply data analytics techniques to audit processes across key business cycles.
• Identify, document, and summarize audit issues and observations.
• Support report writing and communicate audit findings to senior management and clients.
