Job description
Responsibilities
  • To support, process EQD daily transactions and trade validation in the Murex system.
  • Perform SCEL checking for EQD clients, checking of EQD Asset & Liability (ALM) & Warrant Outstanding (WOR) reports.
  • Prepare payment instruction (PI) for EQD outstanding invoices and Withholding tax and SST charges, where applicable.
  • Verify Corporate Action File & MUREX definition for new tranche issuance of structured warrants are matched.
  • Ensure share transfer is executed on the settlement date for OTC Put and Option physical settlements.
  • Prepare Notice of Expiry (NOE), Structured warrant expiry/settlement processing (Schedule 5).
  • Perform OTC Option Trade Validation / Generate Trade Confirmation in MUREX / Expiry of OTC Option trades and Expected Inward & Outward Payment Emails for OTC Option trades.
  • Ensure effective customer service for both internal and external clients.
  • To perform other tasks within Portfolio Admin Team as and when assigned by superiors.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 - 2 years working experience in stock broking / investment banking / custodian bank environment.
  • Degree in Business Administration / Finance & Banking / Accountancy or related discipline.
  • Able to work within tight deadline & with minimum supervision.
  • Good planning, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and good problem solving skills.
