Team Manager, Fiduciary & Fund Services Operations
- Awareness and understanding of the Group’s business strategy and model appropriate to the role.
- Contribute towards the future strategic direction and process innovation of Securities Services by keeping abreast of changes in customer needs, technology, and business environment, and taking proactive steps to embrace and capitalize on these changes.
Support the roll-out of appropriate quality management systems and other initiatives by the Company/Group.
Business
- Assist the Line Manager - FMO Securities Services Fund Services in managing the operations of Fund Services Processes to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality services to customers and meeting Group objectives, utilizing available resources while maintaining operational risk at an acceptable level.
- Help the team achieve service quality standards, aiming for zero defects for Bank customers.
Processes
- Deliver services and reports to country stakeholders/clients according to requirements and timelines specified in the Service Level Memorandum.
- Ensure accurate calculation and posting of valuation entries, including management fees, expenses, and performance fees, in accordance with the Service Level Memorandum and relevant fund documentation.
- Accurately capture trades, prices, corporate actions, FX rates, and relevant accounting entries to provide precise Net Asset Value calculations.
- Maintain daily records of investment funds, including general ledgers, cash positions, and investment records, supporting fund administration activities such as transaction processing and documentation verification.
- Review reports for CPC/clients, verify trades, ensure valuations are checked against third-party sources, and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Handle daily activities including cash and trade reconciliations, NAV reporting, and financial statement preparation.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of fund documentation, investment rules, KYC, AML, IFRS, and US GAAP.
- Assist in team planning, monitoring, and coaching.
- Follow control procedures and ensure compliance with all regulations and group policies.
- Proactively communicate changes affecting clients and ensure awareness of AML and KYC responsibilities.
- Adhere to risk management policies, including control standards and escalation procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 5-7 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of fund administration, valuation, and offshore funds
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently
- Strong communication, client service, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in project management is a plus
- Working hours: 7am-4pm or 9am-6pm
