Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Team Leader to lead our Mortgage Sales team. This role is pivotal in driving business growth by sourcing prospective clients, understanding their mortgage financing needs, and ensuring adherence to our policies and risk management standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership background, with the ability to manage and inspire a team of mortgage sales professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of mortgage sales professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews to ensure team members meet and exceed their targets.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the team.
- Encourage collaboration and teamwork, promoting a positive and motivating work environment.
Business Development
- Source prospective clients (Personal, Priority, and Business Banking) for mortgage loans through alliances with real estate agents, mortgage brokers, developers, and lawyers.
- Understand client needs for mortgage financing, structure proposed solutions, and close sales following credit approval.
- Identify and uncover clients' other financial needs and refer relevant retail and wealth products.
- Collaborate with Employee Banking (EB) and segment teams to integrate mortgage offers into corporate offers as part of cross-sales activities.
Processes And Activities
- Ensure adherence to relevant policies, including call reports, customer appointments, and pipeline management, to ensure timely completion of the end-to-end mortgage process.
- Conduct regular scheduled visits and maintain constant engagement with all dealers, developers, and mortgage brokers in alignment with the country engagement model and strategy.
- Monitor and manage the team's sales pipeline to ensure consistent and efficient processing of mortgage applications.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in mortgage sales, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to manage and inspire a team of sales professionals.
- Excellent understanding of mortgage financing products and services.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze client needs and provide tailored financial solutions.
- Knowledge of risk management practices and regulatory requirements in the mortgage industry.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
