Overview

Responsibilities
  • Provide an educational atmosphere where students have the opportunity to fulfil their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, spiritual and psychological growth.
  • Develop course outlines and implement instructional programmes in line with the Malaysian Ministry of Education and other regulatory bodies’ policies and guidelines.
  • Engage in non-academic services to the institution, including extra-curricular activities, counselling and marketing activities.
  • Engage in scholarly activities to develop and enhance teaching and professional expertise relevant to the profession.
  • Develop teaching materials and implement instructional activities to promote meaningful learning experiences.
  • Identify, select, and modify instructional resources to meet diverse student needs, backgrounds, learning styles, and special needs.
  • Assist in assessing curricular needs and propose improvement plans.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other professionals on a regular basis, both orally and in writing.
  • Perform administrative duties related to subjects taught (e.g., attendance records, invigilation during examinations, etc.).
  • Participate in extra-curricular activities, counselling, marking of assessments, and supporting school events such as promotions/marketing activities.
Requirements
  • A Degree qualification in Education and/or related disciplines.
  • At least 2 years of teaching experience in the Cambridge syllabus.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
