Sunway International School (SIS) Sunway Iskandar is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Teacher. The incumbent will play an integral role in delivering high-quality language lessons to students in the International Baccalaureate (IB).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Design and develop engaging teaching materials tailored to the IB curriculum, ensuring their effective delivery in the classroom.
  2. Deliver instructional activities that foster an active learning environment and encourage student engagement in meaningful learning experiences.
  3. Select, adapt, and modify instructional resources to accommodate the diverse learning needs, backgrounds, and abilities of students.
  4. Assess evolving curriculum needs and proactively recommend strategies for improvement to ensure effective teaching and learning.
  5. Promote continuous student growth and academic achievement, ensuring alignment with age-appropriate expectations, subject areas, and programme objectives.
  6. Maintain clear, consistent communication with students, parents, and colleagues, both verbally and in writing, to support student success.
  7. Contribute to extra-curricular activities, including providing guidance and counselling to students, grading placement/readiness assessments, and assisting with school promotion and marketing initiatives.
  8. Perform administrative duties related to teaching such as recording student attendance, monitoring participation in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, and invigilating examinations.
REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Education and/or Language is preferred.
  2. Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the IBDP & IBMYP level.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
