Job summary

ACE EdVenture Group seeks passionate teachers to join Dwi Emas, Sri Emas and MITstem International Schools for Cambridge IGCSE prep. Roles cover content delivery, mentorship, and collaboration with academic teams to enhance curricula and student outcomes.

The position requires a Bachelor Degree, strong English skills, and openness to working with diverse student groups across schools under the ACE EdVenture Group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in any related field.
• External experience in the corporate world is welcome; fresh graduates may apply.
• Fluent in spoken and written English; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver content and facilitate coursework according to ACE EdVenture's pedagogy and standards.
• Contact students' parents regularly to update them on progress and behaviour.
• Attend mandatory team meetings to stay updated on school growth and convey updates to students.
• Work with Academic teams to update and upgrade curricula.
• Set internal exam papers and deliver them for vetting and printing.
• Prepare students' report cards in a timely manner for review.
• Assist Heads in preparing materials for classroom and student progress.
• Document student work/progress for tracking purposes.
• Encourage self-discipline and high engagement in students.
• Speak English at all times and ensure students do the same.
• Handle emergencies and crises in the classroom.
• Share information with leaders to protect student safety and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with other teachers to address classroom issues.
• Adhere to company policies protecting stakeholders.
• Replace other teachers' classes when called upon.

TEACHER TRAINING & MENTORSHIP PROVIDED

Core Roles and Responsibilities

• Deliver content and facilitate coursework, discussions, and activities according to ACE EdVenture's pedagogy and standards.
• Contact students' parents regularly to update them on their children's progress in the real world, academic and behavioural aspects whether positive or negative, especially positive. (Minimum 2 students' parents a week)
• Attend mandatory team meetings such as Termly Tactics to stay updated on the school's growth and evolution and convey relevant updates to students.
• Work with Academic teams to update and upgrade curricula based on purpose and principles in the ACE DNA.
• Set internal exam papers and deliver them in a timely manner for sufficient time to vet and print.
• Prepare students' report cards in a timely manner for sufficient time to vet and print.
• Be ready to aid Heads in the preparation of materials needed in the classroom or for student progress and wellbeing.
• Document student work/progress for tracking purposes
• Encourage and instill self-discipline in students.
• Speak English at all times and ensure students do the same except during non-English language classes.
• Handle emergencies and crises in the classroom.
• Communicate information to leaders that could jeopardise a student's/student safety or wellbeing with the utmost appropriation.
• Collaborate with other teachers to address classroom or student-specific issues.
• Adhere to company policies that are put in place to protect and serve all stakeholders within ACE EdVenture.
• Replace other teachers' classes when called on.

Role Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in any related field.
• External experience in the corporate world in any other field. (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply!)
• Fluent in spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus to communicate with student demographic.
