Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Tea Barista to join our team at TEH TARIK NATION as we are currently expanding our team to support continued business growth. The ideal candidate requires delivering excellent and friendly customer service, including taking orders, processing payments, preparing beverages according to standard procedures and maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in both the outlet and kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Possess excellent and positive service attitude; customers are greeted in a warm and friendly manner.
• Take customer’s orders, collect payments and service customers when an order is ready.
• Possess excellent knowledge of our products and the subject of tea (training will be provided) so as to be able to make recommendations to customers, with a view to promoting suitable products to customers or upselling other products.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and safety of outlet at all times.
• Responsible to ensure that all POS day-end closing reports are duly performed, and that all sales collection are tallied with the POS, according to the company’s standard operating procedures.
• Cooperative and helpful with other team members, superiors and peers alike.
• Prepare all beverage orders in accordance with standard operating procedures to ensure consistency of product offering.
• Responsible to ensure that outlet supplies are duly replenished to avoid any outlet downtime.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and safety of kitchen at all times.
• Team player - coordinate and cooperate with others to ensure the entire kitchen operation functions well.

Qualifications

• Flexible to work on shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Nationality: Malaysians and foreigners with valid, legal residency permits
• Experience Level: < 1 year in the tea and coffee beverage industry
• Minimum SPM qualifications or equivalent required
• Willingness to work across multiple locations/outlets as needed.
