To deliver tax assignments up to expected standards and within agreed timelines, in addition to excellent client management and managing administrative responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities:

Tax computations and filings to ensure compliance with Malaysian tax laws and regulations.

All IRB tax correspondences assigned by tax manager are properly dealt with within the given timeframe.

Ensure timely submission of Form CP204 & Form CP204A.

Manage the preparation and timely submission of direct tax returns.

Support clients during the finalisation of tax compliance, addressing issues efficiently and mitigating risks.

Stay updated with the latest tax laws and regulations to ensure all work complies with statutory requirements.

Respond and follow up with the general tax correspondence on a timely manner.

Organise work well so that deadlines are met.

Provide support to the team and work co-operatively to ensure all tasks are carried out according to instruction and on a timely manner.

Manage the filing of tax documents into the tax files in a timely and organized manner.

Call and follow up on tax fee payment on a monthly basis.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through consistent, high-quality service delivery.

Job Requirements:

Professional accounting qualification and/or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and/or partial professional qualifications (ACCA / MIA / CPA or equivalent).

Minimum of 2-3 years of tax experience.

Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

A team player with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.

Proficiency in Mandarin and English is required. Added advantage for candidates fluent in Mandarin.
