Job role

To perform and execute the quality and integrity of Mazars' tax methodology through quality control that applies to every client engagement. To assist and transmit Mazars' values, demonstrate leadership, and maintain productive relationships with clients, team members, and relevant authorities.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare tax computations and file tax returns for a portfolio of clients.
  • Assist or perform on Tax Advisory / Planning assignments.
  • Coach and guide team members on tax projects.
  • Assist the Tax Manager in monitoring engagement progress.
  • Perform other relevant tasks as assigned by superiors.

Desired skills & experience

  • Minimum degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant fields.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong motivation to excel professionally.
  • Proven success in adapting to a professional work environment.
  • Team player.
  • Membership in relevant professional bodies is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and people management skills.
  • Strong accounting and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
