Job role

To perform and execute the quality and integrity of Mazars tax methodology and through quality control that applied to every client engagement. To assist and transmit the Mazars values, leadership and maintain productive relationships with clients, other team members and the relevant authorities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. To prepare tax computations and filing of tax returns for a portfolio of clients.
  2. To assist or perform on tax advisory/planning assignments.
  3. Work closely with other team members on tax projects.
  4. To assist Tax Manager on the monitoring of engagements.
  5. Any other assignments and tasks from the superior which are deemed to be appropriate and relevant.
Desired Skills & Experience

  1. Minimum Degree in Finance / Accounting or any relevant field.
  2. Minimum 1 – 2 years of relevant experience.
  3. Strong drive to excel professionally.
  4. Demonstrated success in adapting to a work environment of professional staff.
  5. Team player.
  6. Prefer full or partial member of any relevant professional bodies.
  7. Excellent communication and people management/development skills.
  8. Strong accounting and analytical skills.
  9. Functional knowledge and skills in using Microsoft applications, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  10. Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
Candidates must be resident in Malaysia, or have the right to work in Malaysia.
