Qualifications

Key Responsibilities



Tax Advisory

Deliver expert tax guidance on corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and project financing, with a strong focus on the renewable energy landscape across APAC.Offer strategic insights on international tax planning, cross-border transactions, and transfer pricing frameworks.Work closely with the broader finance team and business units to design and implement effective transfer pricing strategies, tax compliance processes, and reporting controls.Analyze and assess tax incentives, grants, and subsidies applicable to the renewable energy sector throughout APAC.

Tax Compliance

Ensure adherence to the company's tax governance policies and internal control standards.Oversee the timely and accurate fulfillment of all corporate tax responsibilities, including monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings.Manage the preparation and submission of tax returns-covering corporate income tax, GST, withholding tax, and transfer pricing-for multiple jurisdictions across the APAC region, in compliance with local tax laws.Liaise with internal teams and external advisors to handle tax audits, address regulatory queries, and resolve disputes with tax authorities.Keep abreast of evolving tax legislation and regulatory developments across the region, proactively ensuring compliance and mitigating tax risks.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (a focus on taxation is an advantage).Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, ideally including 2-3 years in a Big 4 accounting firm, and subsequent exposure within dynamic MNCs or listed companies.Strong working knowledge of APAC tax frameworks, particularly for China and Singapore.Proactive, hands-on approach with a strong sense of ownership and collaboration.Capable of translating complex tax matters into actionable business solutions.
