As a Manager , you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:
Use feedback and reflection to develop self awareness , personal strengths and address development areas.
Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to bring order to unstructured problems.
Use a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from current industry or sector trends.
Preparation and Review of US Corporate, Operating Partnership, State tax returns (Form 1120 etc )
Maintain general concepts of US corporate and Partnership tax and the tax compliance process,including workpapers, 1120, 1065, state returns
Working experience on ITS forms and Amended returns is an added advantage
Maintain a general understanding of US Tax technical concepts and ability to perform tax research
Responsible for self-review of deliverables before handing them to Assistant Manager
Attentive participation in US Corporate Tax training modules and on the job training
Should be proficient in using Tax research tools viz CCH, IRA Checkpoint, Bloomberg etc
Track daily assignments, provide periodic status updates on ongoing deliverables, and coordinate with other team members to meet internal and client deadlines
Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.
Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
Professional papers such as Chartered Accountant or equivalent (such as ICAEW / ACCA / MICPA-CAANZ/ CPA Australia/CPA US).
In Tax, promotion to Manager requires the holding of an active primary credential of either (1) US CPA or foreign equivalent or (2) US Enrolled Agent in good standing with an appropriate regulatory body or (3) a Firm approved Secondary Credential
Interest to pursue professional papers for future progression
Minimum Years of Experience: 5 year(s)
Oral and written proficiency in English required
Strong leadership, teamwork and client servicing skills
Strong communication skills in both oral and written English
