TAX MANAGER/ ASSISTANT MANAGER

(based in Kelana Jaya, Petaling Jaya, Selangor)

(Note: Position and salary to commensurate with experience)

Job Summary

You will play a pivotal role to ensure clients comply with tax regulations and tax optimization that cover :- Tax Strategy , Tax Functions, Tax Risk Analysis , Tax Control & compliance, Tax Monitoring and Tax Assurance

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the client’s tax liabilities and compliance;
  • Manage tax audits, inquiries, and investigation cases;
  • Monitor & mitigate tax risks by identifying potential tax planning opportunities;
  • Review tax computation, tax submissions, tax estimation and tax correspondences;
  • Lead and supervise tax professionals within the organization for tax reporting deadlines;
  • Ensure compliance with all local and international regulations;
  • Provide guidance & training support to finance and accounting teams on tax related matters;
  • Work closely with clients and liaise with various government agencies e.g. Inland Revenue Board, Customs, Ministry of Finance and other relevant government agencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field;
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the tax industry;
  • Professional certifications such as ACCA, ICAEW, CPA, CFA, or CTP are a plus.
  • Strong understanding of international tax regulations and guidelines;
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Communication, interpersonal and client relationship management skills

Salary RM7,000 – RM10,500, position and salary to commensurate with experience. 5-days week, flexi working hours, office is 5 min walk to LRT Kelana Jaya. Preferably Mandarin speaking female candidate.
