Position: Tax & Financial Reporting Senior Accountant – Support Australia
Location: Jalan Ampang, KL
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 6.30am to 3.30pm | Alternate weekend
Duration: Contract until 30th November 2025 with PERSOLKELLY
Salary: RM5,000 - RM7,500 (Based on experience & skills)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Preparation of business activity financial statements, distribution calculations and tax returns.
2. Preparation of financial statements, APRA and ABS regulatory reporting.
3. Reconciliation of accounting to taxable income.
4. Perform other daily and monthly activities as required adhering strictly to established procedures, controls and checklist.
5. Review & resolve aging break items and breaks over a certain dollar threshold.
6. Provide back-up coverage for team members and assist team members during high volume periods.
7. Support process improvement activities.
8. Assist the team manager in audit queries, client queries, and risk related items.
9. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding company, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

WHO CAN APPLY?

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/business studies/technology or equivalent.
2. Minimum 3 years of relevant experiences (must have financial reporting knowledge).
3. Experience in accounting, finance, or business-related area.
4. Experience in fund administration, change management, and/or project management.
5. Ability to work under pressure to meet varying deadlines and work volumes.
6. Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
