Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and companies (Form BE, B, P, C, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations under the Income Tax Act 1967 and other related laws
  • Handle tax computations, CP204, CP204A, and estimates of tax payable
  • Liaise with the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) on queries, audits, and appeals
  • Provide basic tax planning advice to clients
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely submission of all tax filings
  • Support internal audit and accounting teams as needed
  • Keep up to date with the latest tax developments and guidelines

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant working experience in taxation (Fresh graduates with internship exposure in tax may also be considered)
  • Familiarity with Malaysian tax laws, especially corporate and personal tax
  • Proficiency in tax software (e.g., SQL, Taxcom) is an added advantage
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (Chinese proficiency is a plus)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
