Job Purpose

Provide support to the tax manager and assistant tax manager for the provision of tax services across the Group of companies.

Key Accountabilities
  • Actively providing tax compliance works, including annual corporate tax filing, tax estimates and installments, GST/SST reporting, withholding tax payments, and other statutory tax matters.
  • Provide quarterly and final tax provisions for financial and audit reporting.
  • Regularly review deferred tax computations to ensure accuracy and timeliness, especially during quarterly reporting of the Group's results.
  • Liaise with Business Units, finance groups, and external auditors on tax matters, reporting, and audits.
  • Coordinate with tax authorities regarding tax-related correspondence/issues.
  • Assist tax manager in preparing Transfer Pricing documentation.
  • Research, analyze, and implement newly enacted tax legislations and rulings to ensure compliance.
  • Execute tax-related projects and initiatives on an ad-hoc basis.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Legal, Economics, or an equivalent professional qualification.
  • At least 1 year of tax-related work experience.
  • Professional accreditation with MIT/MIA is an advantage.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and meet tight deadlines.
