An established industry player is seeking a Tax Compliance Manager to oversee tax processes and ensure compliance. This role involves preparing tax computations and returns, managing client communications, and ensuring all deadlines are met. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Finance or Accounting and relevant professional qualifications, along with 2-12 years of taxation experience. Client Tracker & Tax Files: Complete and update the Client Tracker as required, and set up tax files when necessary.
Invoicing: Prepare invoices when needed.
Document Filing: Ensure proper filing of documents after tax return filings and advisory work are completed.
Communication: Keep directors, managers, and seniors informed of client matters, including documenting client calls and forwarding emails to the engagement team.
Document Dispatch: Coordinate the dispatch of documents.
Deadline Management: Ensure all internal and client-set deadlines are met.
Tax Organizers: Monitor and follow up with clients to return completed Tax Organizers.
Tax Computations & Returns: Prepare draft tax computations, returns, and supporting documents, coordinating with clients for necessary clarifications.
Issue Resolution: Address any issues arising in collaboration with the engagement team and resolve review points raised by Seniors, Managing Consultants, or Directors.
Review Points & Documentation: Ensure all review points are cleared, document important information (via email, internal memo, etc.), and file it appropriately.
Final Review: Ensure the final tax computation and returns sent to the client for review are complete and accurate.
Post-Submission Follow-up: After tax return submission, follow up with the client for the signed Form e-C and confirm tax credit or overpaid tax utilization (whether to offset against future installments or request a refund).
CP204/CP204A Tracking: Track due dates for filing CP204/CP204A and send cover or reminder letters to clients regarding the submission of original or revised tax estimates.
A minimum of a degree in Finance/Accounting or a professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CIA) or equivalent.
Candidates should have at least 2-12 years of experience in taxation. Welcome candidates across all levels to apply.
