Job summary

PwC Malaysia seeks a Manager in Domestic Tax Compliance to lead client engagements, review financial data, and file corporate tax returns with accuracy and timeliness.

You will drive tax planning initiatives, advise on regulatory requirements, and guide junior staff while coordinating with Finance, Legal, and business units to deliver compliant, value-added tax solutions for clients in Financial Services and other sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Professional qualification where applicable.
• 5-7 years of corporate tax compliance experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Organizational and initiative-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Tax Compliance: file corporate tax returns accurately and on time.
• Tax Planning: develop strategies to optimize tax position and reduce liabilities.
• Advisory: provide guidance on tax implications for transactions, investments, and new ventures.
• Reporting: prepare tax provisions and ensure correct financial reporting.
• Regulatory Monitoring: stay updated on tax laws and industry changes.
• Collaboration: coordinate with finance, legal, and business units.
