Job summary

Crowe Penang Tax Sdn Bhd is seeking a diligent tax associate to support SME tax assignments, participate in ad-hoc projects, and assist in large tax assignments. You will liaise with clients and tax authorities to resolve issues and ensure accurate reporting.

You will work closely with teammates and leaders in a fast-paced setting, with strong attention to detail. Ideal candidates hold an accounting/finance degree or related professional qualifications, and are proficient in English and Bahasa

Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting or Finance, or those with full or partial professional qualification (MICPA, ACCA, ICAEW)
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Good report writing and computer skills
• Proactive, resourceful, innovative and have an eye for details
• A team player who is also able to work well independently under a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Ability to work under pressure and multi-task

Responsibilities

• Handle or assist in small and medium sized tax assignments
• Handle or assist in ad-hoc special assignments
• Assist in large sized tax assignments
• Liaise with clients and tax authorities to resolve issues
