AD TAX ADVISORY CONSULTANCY SDN BHD is seeking a Tax Assistant in George Town, Penang, and Prai to provide comprehensive tax advisory services and ensure client compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting, 1–3 years of tax advisory or compliance experience, and strong knowledge of Malaysian tax laws. You will prepare returns, conduct analyses, assist with audits, and communicate regulatory changes to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required.
• 1–3 years of experience in tax advisory or compliance in a professional services firm is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Malaysian tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in using tax software and spreadsheets.
• Effective communication and client-facing abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns for corporate, individual, and indirect taxes.
• Conduct tax research and analysis to identify planning opportunities and minimise liabilities.
• Assist with tax audits and support tax dispute resolutions.
• Stay updated on tax law changes and communicate updates to clients.
• Collaborate with the tax team to deliver high‑quality, timely services.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to understand business needs.
