Qualifications

Job role


Commitment to the quality and integrity of Mazars tax methodology and thorough quality control that applied to every client engagement. To carry the Mazars values, leadership and maintain productive relationship with clients, other team members and the relevant authorities.


Key Responsibilities


  1. Management of Tax Compliance Assignments.
  2. Perform or manage advisory and tax planning assignments.
  3. Coaching & guiding team members and assistants on tax projects.
  4. Engagement monitoring – manage, review and ensure compliance with tax regulations and procedures.
  5. Perform technical and/or marketing functions.
  6. Build close rapport with clients and relevant authorities.
  7. Involve in business development.
  8. Any other assignments and tasks from the superior deemed appropriate and relevant.

Desired Skills & Experience


  1. Minimum Degree in Finance / Accounting or any relevant field.
  2. Minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience.
  3. Strong drive to excel professionally.
  4. Demonstrated success in adapting to a work environment of professional staff.
  5. Team player.
  6. Preferably a full or partial member of any relevant professional bodies.
  7. Excellent communication and people management/development skills.
  8. Strong accounting and analytical skills.
  9. Functional knowledge and skills in using Microsoft applications, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  10. Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
