Job summary

Qualifications

  • Fresh graduates or those with less than 1 year of full-time experience welcomed.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in tax compliance work including submission of tax returns.
  • Liaise with clients and the Inland Revenue Board.
  • Manage filing of tax documents and follow up on tax payments.

Job description

We are an established Professional Firm located in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur (Opposite One Utama).

Job Requirements:

  • Candidates are required to possess either a professional qualification or be a finalist of a professional qualification (MICPA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CTIM).
  • Degree in Accounting or an equivalent qualification.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • Fresh graduates or those with less than 1 year of full-time working experience are welcome to apply.
  • Must be computer literate; working knowledge of EasyTax software is an advantage.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Teamwork skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Proficiency in oral Mandarin communication is an advantage.
  • Positive attitude, analytical, self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good time management, planning, and organizational skills.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in tax compliance work - preparation and submission of tax returns.
  • Meetings, liaising, and correspondence with clients and the Inland Revenue Board.
  • Handle estimation of tax payable, revision of tax estimates, and ensure timely submission of Form CP204 & Form CP204A.
  • Follow up with clients on completion of assignments and track relevant deadlines.
  • Inform clients of documents received from IRB.
  • Follow up on tax payments.
  • Manage the filing of tax documents in a timely and organized manner.
  • Discuss and update seniors and/or managers on tax assignments.
  • Medical insurance provision.
  • Good performance will be rewarded accordingly.
  • Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
