Job Responsibilities:
  1. Look after Clients accounting needs, tax return lodgements, ASIC annual returns, BAS/IAS lodgements and FBT lodgements as well as overseeing other Client regulatory obligations.
  2. Assist with the provision of specialised tax advice and consultancy advice.
  3. Manage Clients financial and tax affairs on a day-to-day level.
  4. Assist employees of your Employer to proactively seek new clients covering all disciplines of the Group (being accounting and tax).
  5. Manage and oversee Clients of the accounting business known as Graystone Private together with the assistance of other Directors and Managers of your Employer.
  6. Perform such other duties as may be required from time to time by your Employer.
Requirements:
  1. A degree in Accounting/Accountancy or CPA/ACCA qualification, demonstrating a strong foundation in financial principles.
  2. 4 - 7 years of experience in a related field, bringing valuable insights and best practices to the role.
  3. Understanding of accounting rules and procedures, including the AASB/ MPERS/ MASB.
  4. An independent, proactive, and resourceful individual with high attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
  5. Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills, with proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Xero, Hubdoc and Employment Hero) and e-invoicing systems.
  6. Fluency in English, facilitating effective communication across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  7. Prior experience with an Accounting or Audit Firm is a plus.
