What's the role?
In partnership with the Sourcing Specialist (Corporate), this role will be responsible for attracting and hiring diverse Finance, Marketing, HR, Legal, Logistics and Operations talent and future leadership profiles to Hilti in Malaysia. You will Work with hiring managers to devise appropriate search strategies and ensuring a best-in-class candidate experience for all applicants, regardless of outcome. The role will be a true business partner, bringing market insights to stakeholders and with a delivery-focused mindset throughout.
What does the role involve?
  • Own the end-to-end recruitment process for your designated areas, including business as usual and ramp-up/project based recruitment activity, managing your stakeholders effectively and working with the hiring managers, HRBPs and Sourcing Specialists for your area to develop proactive resourcing strategies
  • Work with the Sourcing Specialist to take a detailed brief on a role, asking the right questions to understand hiring manager requirements and translate this into a search strategy
  • Conduct in-depth screenings of potential candidates,
    demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences and selling the Hilti proposition to passive candidates who may not yet know Hilti as an employer of choice
  • Support the shortlisting and selection process and ensure the process is fair, unbiased and strengths-based in line with Hiring the Best People principles
  • Manage the offer process with candidates, using inputs from the Reward team and your external market understanding to guide the hiring manager on appropriate compensation levels
  • Understand your functional and geographical market, sharing insights to shape current and future hiring strategies, bringing the outside in and ensuring Hilti remains competitive in the talent landscape
What you need is:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology or a relevant field
  • At least 5 years of proven experience of end-to-end recruitment in an in-house role or an agency in a relevant sector (ideally recruiting for Multi National Companies)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and able to influence at a mid to senior level
  • Experience in utilizing recruitment technologies beyond an ATS or are very comfortable working with new technologies and systems, including talent relationship management, strengths-based hiring platform and Workday
  • A good understanding of what makes a great candidate experience and the ability to put this at the heart of everything you do
  • Experience of driving a diverse candidate pipeline and the ability to champion this with hiring managers, including the ability to write inclusive job adverts
  • Passion for talent acquisition and desire to help create a best-in-class function
  • Ability to maintain high levels of data quality to build insights that drive decision-making
  • Resilience to deal with multiple, sometimes competing, priorities
