Job description

1. POSITION DETAILS
  • Reporting line: Senior Manager, Talent Management & Employee Engagement, East Asia.
  • Scope: Covering Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Japan & Hong Kong.
  • Support: Local HR teams in TH, HK, and JP will assist with the hiring process.
  • Industry: Open to candidates from any industry, though experience in the insurance industry would be a plus.
2. POSITION SUMMARY
  • Spearhead recruitment strategies to attract, select, and onboard the right talent that aligns with the organization's values and culture.
3. DIMENSIONS OF ROLE
  • Network and build strong, trust-based relationships with potential candidates while remaining abreast of recruiting best practices and helping the organization implement them.
4. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for various openings, including campus recruitment.
  • Build deep partnerships with hiring managers to understand business needs, technical requirements, and team dynamics, providing high-quality sourcing strategies and overcoming challenges.
  • Source external candidates through a variety of methods: posting, networking, headhunting, etc., and propose innovative sourcing strategies.
  • Act as a recruitment expert, providing guidance and best practices to hiring managers.
  • Ensure excellent candidate experience and serve as a company's culture & values ambassador.
  • Conduct intake calls with hiring managers to understand job requirements.
  • Handle sourcing/headhunting, screening, shortlisting, coordinating interviews, salary proposals, and offer management up to onboarding.
  • Collaborate closely with HRBP/Hiring Managers to ensure job specifications, qualifications, and expectations are aligned before sourcing.
  • Provide excellent customer service, maintaining continuous communication with HRBPs and hiring managers for interview feedback and search adjustments.
  • Provide timely updates on hiring progress and headcount.
  • Implement best-in-class recruitment practices, including passive candidate sourcing using various tools and systems.
  • Utilize social media, job boards, internet sourcing, university recruitment, and other channels to source candidates.
Internal
  • Plan and organize Talent Acquisition programs such as Walk-In Interviews, Career Fairs, Graduate Hiring, and Internships.

  • Proven success in full-cycle recruitment across Asia, including remote locations.

  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
Education, Professional Qualifications, and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in HRM, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant HR experience, especially in recruitment.
  • Experience managing a variety of roles, including insurance, technical, and others.
  • Solid experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms.
