About the Company

We are recruiting on behalf of our client in the Electronic Distributor industry. The ideal candidate is a seasoned talent acquisition professional with strong expertise in end-to-end recruitment across various functions and levels.

About the Role

This role manages 20-30 roles of white & blue collars on a quarterly basis and is based in Penang. If you are passionate about or interested in starting your journey in ASEAN hiring, this role might be for you!

Job Description:

  1. Oversee the distribution of Employer Brand, Social Media (internal and external), Diversity Efforts, and overall candidate experience, including bringing forth ideas and best practices. Partner internally with various functions to execute innovative and cost-effective talent acquisition strategies that attract and engage top talent.
  2. Manage external talent acquisition vendors to optimize their performance according to business requirements.
  3. Act as a thought leader for Applicant Tracking System (ATS), processes, and design to optimize the Talent Acquisition function and RPO technologies, ensuring a superior user experience and compliance with EEO/OFCCP standards.
  4. Manage talent acquisition vendor partnerships and content to align Employer Brand efforts with vendor activities to attract top talent.
  5. Develop and improve processes that support an efficient talent acquisition lifecycle, and communicate successes in partnership with the HR Director, Talent Acquisition.
  6. Coordinate with the business on reporting needs to interpret data effectively.
  7. Oversee background screening vendors to ensure a smooth process from Offer to Background check, providing a positive experience for candidates and the Talent Acquisition team.

What We Are Looking For

  1. Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a 4-year degree;
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; adept at multitasking, prioritizing time, and paying attention to detail;
  3. Proficient in reading and writing Malay to handle local government documents and ensure regulatory compliance; strong stakeholder management skills with a can-do attitude;
  4. Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
