Role Description

This is a part-time, hybrid role based in Petaling Jaya, with flexibility to perform some responsibilities from home. The Takaful Advisor with Prubsn will educate potential and existing clients on takaful and insurance solutions, conduct needs-based financial assessments, and recommend suitable protection plans. Daily tasks include meeting clients in person or virtually, following up on leads, preparing quotations, and handling documentation and applications. The role involves maintaining up-to-date product and regulatory knowledge, participating in training sessions, and collaborating with the team to achieve sales and service targets. The advisor is also expected to provide ongoing policy servicing, such as claims guidance, plan reviews, and coverage updates.

Qualifications

• MALAYSIAN CITIZEN ONLY

Degree / Diploma in any field.

• Sales, negotiation, and customer service skills, including comfort with prospecting, follow-up, and closing based on clients’ needs.
• Basic financial literacy and interest in takaful and insurance, with a willingness to learn product features, Shariah principles, and regulatory requirements.
• Good organizational and time management skills to handle appointments, documentation, and follow-ups in a part-time, hybrid setting.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset with an entrepreneurial attitude and readiness to work both independently and within a supportive team.
• Proficiency with standard digital tools (e.g., email, messaging apps, video conferencing) for remote client engagement and reporting.
• Ability to commute to Petaling Jaya for meetings, training, and client appointments as required.
• Relevant academic background in business, finance, or related fields is an advantage; prior experience in sales, insurance, or customer-facing roles is beneficial but not mandatory.
