Job description

Position: Language Interpreter (English and Tagalog)

Time Slot: Full Night Shift (MYT)

Countries: Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Thailand ONLY

As an interpreter, your primary role is to facilitate communication between parties who speak different languages. For example, during a live call from 911, your main responsibility is to accurately interpret the conversation between the caller (native language) and the emergency operator (English). Your role is to convey the message in the caller's preferred language and ensure mutual understanding.

This work-from-home position requires a quiet and secure environment. It is open to most locations within Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia, and Vietnam. Calls may involve simple or complex, non-technical or technical subjects across Healthcare, Government, Insurance, Finance, Utilities, Travel and Hospitality, 911 emergency services, Law Enforcement, and General Business.

Job Requirements:

1. Fluent in English (Read, Speak, & Write)
2. Fluent in Vietnamese (Read, Speak, & Write)
3. Must be working from home
4. Own mobile phone with Android 12+ or iOS 15+
5. Own an updated laptop
6. Willing to work rotating night shifts, approximately 9 hours, following the client's schedule within 24 hours
7. Entitled to 2 days off per week, rotating any day
8. Willing to work on public holidays, as the operation is 24/7
