Job summary

Deloitte Southeast Asia is recruiting a Junior Associate for Business Tax in Kuala Lumpur. You will support compliance tax services for client engagements across varied industries, assist with compliance and reporting, and research diverse tax matters.

You will also liaise with clients and government agencies as needed, while developing technical skills and professional growth. The role emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and ongoing learning, with a focus on delivering accurate tax guidance

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting/Finance or Economics or equivalent.
• Strong written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Work you’ll do

• Support the team for compliance tax services for clients engagements in varied industries
• Support the team in conducting compliance and reporting, tax management, risk and control assessment
• Research and consult on various tax matters
• Support the team in contacting clients and officers from Inland Revenue Board, Ministry of Finance and other government agencies

Requirements

• Possess Diploma in related disciplines such as Accounting & Finance/Economics or equivalent
• Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
