Job summary

Join Deloitte in Malaysia as a Tax Associate, Business Tax Compliance. You will perform compliance tax services for diverse clients, using tax software to prepare returns, and conduct reporting, risk and control assessments.

You’ll liaise with Inland Revenue Board and other agencies while contributing to tax advisory efforts. We value graduates with strong English and Bahasa Malaysia, teamwork, and a proactive approach to learning and development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or equivalent.
• Pursuing a professional accounting qualification.
• 1–2 years of tax compliance experience is a plus.
• Strong English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
• Excellent teamwork and workload prioritisation.

Responsibilities

• Utilise tax software to prepare and process returns.
• Conduct compliance and reporting, tax management, risk and control assessment.

Requirements

• Possess minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in related disciplines such as Accounting & Finance/Economics or equivalent
• Must possess or currently pursuing a professional accounting Qualification, otherwise you are required to pursue one professional accounting qualification under the Firm
• Candidates with 1-2 years of tax compliance work will have an added advantage
• Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Active participant in career development and training processes
• Teamwork – strong ability to work with others and share responsibilities
• Solid ability to prioritize and organize workload
• Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply
