Job summary

Plexus Corp. in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a Higher Level Assembly Technician to assess, implement, and maintain assembly procedures for complex processes. You will act as a technical advocate within the Focus Factory Team, driving efficiency, accuracy, and safety improvements on the shop floor.

The role supports production operators and works under supervision to apply good manufacturing practices in Plexus' Manufacturing Processes and adhere to product specifications.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree with 1+ years of related experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.

Purpose Statement: The Higher Level Assembly Technician assesses, implements, and maintains manufacturing procedures for intricate assembly processes. As a key technical advocate within the Focus Factory Team, they utilize their skills to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and safety improvements in Plexus's assembly operations.

Key Job Accountabilities:

• Executes Manufacturing solutions/ Provide services that are high-quality, cost-appropriate, and satisfy the customer's requirements and applies process improvement or troubleshooting as it applies to their role.
• Utilizes appropriate tools to perform necessary work including creation, analysis, and verification of documentation, programs, models, processes or production as it applies to their role.
• Demonstrates a basic, discipline‑specific understanding of how they support the full Plexus Manufacturing processes / Product Requirements & Specifications as it applies to their role.
• Successfully executes responsibilities under supervision in accordance with good manufacturing practices and Plexus' Manufacturing Processes AND provide support to direct production line operators as it applies to their role.
• Basic Understanding of Equipment / Process control / Safety / Risk Awareness / setup awareness / operation of, as it applies to their role.

Education/Experience Qualifications:
