Your Roles

Our clients need expert advice and guidance in implementing solutions for managing and leveraging their data to improve their business. Your primary goal will be to help clients design, implement, and support data platforms that run critical workloads driving business improvement. You will play a crucial role in understanding client requirements, proposing suitable solutions, and delivering them successfully. Your expertise in Linux servers, data platforms, DevOps, cloud services, cybersecurity, networking, Infrastructure-as-Code, and data center hardware is essential to ensure our clients' data and infrastructure are secure, efficient, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Technical Services Manager of CCIO.
• Installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining hardware infrastructure of Linux servers, virtualization solutions, operating systems, Linux-based open source applications, and system management tools (servers, data storage, backup and restore systems, network switches).
• Performing application deployments (including containerized applications), troubleshooting, and documentation independently with appropriate oversight.
• Owning specific small elements of projects and ensuring they meet time, cost, and quality targets.
• Providing 2nd and 3rd level technical troubleshooting support with resolutions and recommendations.
• Maintaining security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
• Collaborating with principals, business management, and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
• Delivering effective technology solutions that meet specifications, with review and mentoring from team members.
• Completing assigned tasks and projects with quality, on schedule, within budget, and within scope.
• Troubleshooting Linux servers and workstations, performing root cause analysis (RCA), modifying configurations, diagnosing network and storage issues, scripting, and other tasks as needed.
• Submitting preventive maintenance and RCA reports promptly, and reporting progress regularly to the line manager.
• Staying updated with current and future technology trends, encouraging adoption of innovations where appropriate.
• Providing technical support to internal team members for PC equipment, software, and peripherals, diagnosing issues on a network.
• Engaging in self-improvement through certification exams and training.
