Responsibilities:
- Design system configurations, document, and manage the installation of new systems, while maintaining and upgrading existing systems.
- Coordinate and provide technical input into project work as required.
- Generate monthly operation performance reports.
- Install, configure, and manage Hyper Converged Infrastructure, Hyper-V, Citrix, and VMware.
- Support and troubleshoot cloud and server infrastructure.
- Perform regular patching, version updates, and maintenance tasks on HPE SimpliVity infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HPE SimpliVity, ensuring timely updates and compliance with organizational standards.
- Ensure IT security compliance and perform system health checks, reliability, patch, or security-related issues.
- Manage and respond to VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing) alerts, ensuring vulnerabilities are assessed, prioritized, and addressed promptly.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reporting tasks.
- Administer and monitor daily data backup activities (Veeam Backup), job scheduling, and tape media management.
- Conduct physical health checks of the Data Center facility based on customer checklists and report findings to the support team.
- Participate in server-related projects as a team member.
- Perform analytical tasks and troubleshooting.
- Support internal IT applications.
- Assist in IT audit activities, including ISO, internal, global, and external audits.
- Manage project implementation and rollout, leading projects as required.
- Participate in disaster recovery simulations and preparations.
- Operate, maintain, and support system, network equipment, and security devices at in-scope locations.
- Provide vendor management for equipment warranty, maintenance, and support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Certifications such as MCSE – Communication/Messaging, MCSA - Office 365, Citrix CCA/CCEA, VCPi 5 are advantageous.
- Positive attitude, hardworking, and capable of working within tight schedules and meeting deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Proven track record of continuous improvement and efficiency while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
