Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Swimming Instructor to teach learn-to-swim lessons for preschool and primary students. The program provides full instructor training and official certification, fostering a supportive, fun team environment around the pool.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; prior coaching is a bonus but not required. Weekend availability is expected as classes typically run on weekends. You will join a growing team that values safety and child-focused learning opportunities.

Swimming Instructor / Swim Coach (Beginners Welcome | Full Training Provided)

We are looking for energetic, patient, and passionate individuals to join our team as Swimming Instructors! Whether you are an experienced swimmer or a complete beginner with a passion for teaching, we welcome you. We provide a comprehensive, fully funded instructor training and certification program to equip you with the skills to become a confident, successful swim coach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct structured learn-to-swim lessons primarily for pre-school and primary school students.
• Ensure a safe, supportive, and fun learning environment for all students in and around the pool.
• Teach and demonstrate proper swimming techniques in line with our standard training curriculum.
• Encourage and motivate students to build water confidence and overcome swimming anxieties.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with parents regarding student progress.
• Participate actively in team meetings, ongoing training sessions, and certification programs.
• Ensure pool deck safety protocols and child safety guidelines are strictly maintained at all times.

Job Requirements:

• Educational Background: SPM / Diploma / Degree in any field (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
• Experience: Prior swimming or coaching experience is an advantage, but NOT compulsory. Beginners with a strong willingness to learn are welcome!
• Personal Traits: Patient, responsible, punctual, and genuinely loves working with children.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Availability: Able to work on weekends and flexible shifts (when swimming classes are typically scheduled).
