Sustainability Reporting (Manager), Group Sustainability

Support the development of the annual Sustainability Report, ensuring quality and compliance to regulatory requirements (i.e. Bursa Listing Requirements and IFRS 1, S2 and Industry based) as well as alignment to GRI and SASB. This would include managing and working with data owners to identify and obtain key sustainability/ESG data requirements.

Assist the project manager/director of the Project Steering Committee and Project Working Group on the relevant tasks assigned as part of IFRS Implementation.

Conduct benchmarking of peers, sustainability standards and ESG ratings (i.e. FTSE4Good, MSCI, RAM, S&P&SUSBA).

Address annual rating agencies and due diligence requests.

Support the management of sustainability-related information that appears on AmBank’s corporate websites and associated microsites.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Economics, Banking & Finance, Environmental Science or related fields.

Minimum of 6-8 years in a sustainability-related role, preferably within/supporting the financial services industry.

Experience in sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, TCFD, SASB, ISSB) and understanding of Malaysian sustainability regulations is essential.
