Tech Harvest Capital is seeking a Dental Assistant to prepare patients for procedures, monitor comfort, and provide chairside support in a clinical setting.

You will sterilize instruments, assist with surgeries, manage records and schedules, handle inventory, and aid with radiography when qualified. The role emphasizes infection control, safety, and accurate documentation across administrative and clinical tasks.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant, preferably in a surgery or clinical setting.
• Chairside Assistance Experience: Experience assisting with a variety of dental procedures, especially surgeries, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for dental procedures, ensuring comfort before surgery.
• Sterilize and prepare dental instruments, ensuring readiness for each procedure.
• Assist dentist during procedures by handing instruments, suctioning, and providing tools.
• Maintain sterile treatment area and comply with infection control standards.
• Set up and maintain the surgical area and equipment before, during, and after procedures.
• Manage patient bookings, reschedule appointments, and communicate changes to patients.
• Accurately document patient information and maintain records for reference and compliance.
• Monitor and order dental supplies to keep the clinic stocked for surgeries.
• Take and develop X-rays if qualified and certified, ensuring accurate imaging for treatment planning.
• Operate, monitor, and maintain dental surgery equipment like autoclaves, suction machines, and dental chairs.
• Input patient data into digital records systems and assist with digital tools for surgery planning and documentation.
• Follow infection control, PPE usage, and waste disposal protocols; stay compliant with health and safety regulations.
