Job summary

KLINIK PERGIGIAN BATRISYA is seeking a Dental Surgery Assistant to support dentists with chairside duties, infection control, and patient care. You will help manage instruments, sterilisation, and clinic cleanliness, while collaborating with the team to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires good communication, reliability, and a willingness to follow clinic policies and schedule. Prior DSA experience is advantageous, but learners are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: SPM or equivalent
• Experience as a Dental Surgery Assistant (DSA) is an advantage
• Candidates without experience but willing to learn will be considered
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Responsible, meticulous, disciplined and punctual
• Able to work in a team and accept instructions well
• Willing to work according to clinic operating schedule
• Comply with workplace safety and infection control regulations
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and clinic information

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during treatment and dental procedures by providing instruments, equipment and materials
• Ensure all required instruments and materials are available during treatment
• Clean, disinfect and sterilise dental instruments according to established procedures
• Ensure sterilised instruments are stored correctly
• Comply with infection control procedures and clinic hygiene standards
• Manage and dispose of clinical waste and sharps according to proper procedures
• Receive and prepare patients before dental treatment
• Assist patients before, during and after treatment according to dentist instructions
• Provide post-treatment care instructions as established by the dentist
• Ensure treatment rooms are always clean, tidy and organised
• Clean and disinfect dental chairs and clinical surfaces after each patient
