Job Overview

As the Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor, you will be responsible for Warehouse Management & Logistics functions to ensure effective management of warehouse operation, logistics and trade compliance operational activity.

Job Description

Responsibilities:
• Liable for the overall warehouse and logistics operations including receiving, warehousing/inventory control, pick-pack-ship, and distribution of raw material, components, supplies, and finished goods inventory.
• Manages daily site logistics operations, processes, workflows, and escalation through proactive interaction with key stakeholders including production, planning, order fulfilment, materials management, and other supply chain teams.
• Maintain inventory accuracy with appropriate materials transactions and effective communication schedules release data or all other logistics/materials requirement information to buyers, planners, manufacturing, and relevant teams.
• Maintains a high standard of warehouse housekeeping/sanitation, supporting a lean work environment by promoting and delivering continuous improvement processes and programs.
• Administers and accountable for government import & export customs policies, tools, statistical reporting and compliance to governmental classification & regulatory licensing requirements.
• Accountable to monitor and approve site logistics spend involving freight payment.
• Plan and organize daily or near-term workload to maximize productivity and on-time delivery while supporting the broader organization.
• Collaborates and coordinates with inter-departmental teams to meet or exceed all KPIs, goals, and objectives.
• Site focal point on escalations involving transportation, warehousing, brokerage operations, and packaging, and crating issue resolution.
• Ensure a safe working environment by tracking work areas, equipment, and tools such as PPE to ensure correct usage.
• Oversee direct reports' career growth and development by leading, developing, and mentoring, supporting the development of a strong leadership team and warehouse operation.
• Maintain effective communication with all levels of leadership; internally and externally (customers & vendors).

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred with Logistics or related courses.
• Minimum 5 to 8 years’ Warehouse Management and Logistics supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing a warehouse, including physical inventory, cycle counts, and companywide stock takes.
• Experience supporting production activities such as receiving, kitting, outgoing, and material handling.
• Experience leading operational teams involved in receiving, warehousing/inventory management, and distribution.
• Knowledge of warehouse and material handling operational principles, including layout, picking, inventory counting, variance resolution, and discrepant receipt management.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Knowledge in WMS, ERP, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
• Ability to manage individual contributors performing site logistics operations.
• Fluent in English and the primary local language (written and verbal).
