Job summary

Lam Research Corporation in Penang, Malaysia, seeks a Logistics/Supply Chain Supervisor to oversee daily resupply operations, ensure timely delivery to manufacturing, and lead a mixed team of operators and contract staff. The role requires SAP proficiency, forklift experience, and strong safety practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or related field.
• Experience in warehouse operations and supervisory roles is required.
• Hands-on SAP experience and forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily resupply operations including receiving, inspecting, scanning in SAP, de-trash, un-crating, fixturing, re-packing, and delivery to manufacturing.
• Coordinate with picking to meet delivery and production timelines and KPIs.
• Lead a team of operation staff, forklift operators, and contract labor to meet objectives.
• Plan manpower, conduct daily briefings, monitor performance, and train staff.
• Ensure safety, 6S housekeeping, and proper equipment usage; report incidents and gaps.

Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to supply chain services, inventory control, or critical parts availability, material handling, import-export licensing, third-party warehousing and shipping/receiving activities. Develops and implements logistics plans, budgets, and procedures to maximize compliance with customer needs within budget constraints. Provides financial reporting and reconciliation of inventories. Exhibits thorough understanding of international Letters of Credit and other forms of banking documents and international shipments. Interacts with vendors and peers in Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, and Product Development personnel to optimize systems and procedures.
