Position Summary
The Support Engineer, SAP FI/CO & S/4HANA Financials will provide remote-based support for mission‑critical SAP applications as part of the global customer‑support team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Research, troubleshoot, and support SAP finance applications for global clients.
- Diagnose issues using ABAP debugging, develop, test, package and deliver fixes.
- Work closely with customers daily to understand their needs and deliver high‑quality service.
- Support client customizations and share implementation best‑practice advice.
- Create scripts to identify, analyze and correct data issues.
- Manage key accounts as a technical/functional advisor.
- Provide hands‑on assistance using proprietary tools in a test environment or via remote connectivity.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as the organization runs 24/7/365.
- Collaborate with virtual team members to extend field experience.
- Contribute to development of knowledge‑sharing methods, diagnostic tools, and processes to improve client experience.
Qualifications and Skills
- 6+ years SAP experience, especially in SAP FICO modules and direct support of end‑users in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency with SAP ECC or S/4HANA Finance (New GL, AR, AP, AA) and S/4HANA finance consultant experience.
- Technical‑functional knowledge of S/4HANA finance: New GL, Universal Journal.
- Experience with FI Localization, Cash Management, Group Reporting, Treasury is a plus.
- ABAP development skills for debugging, tracing, and optimization.
- Strong customer focus, problem solving, and communication (verbal & written).
- Excellent presentation skills for customer‑facing activities.
- Ability to travel short‑term for assignments.
- Fluency in English; Mandarin is preferred.
- Ready to work remotely from a home‑based office in a virtual environment.
- Proven record in SAP implementations, roll‑outs, or application support.
- Knowledge of SAP architecture, maintenance, patching, and customization/extension methodologies.
- High attention to detail and quick learning ability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Calm and professional in high‑pressure situations.
