An established industry player is seeking a Supply, Procurement and Distribution Manager to oversee the efficient management of supply chain operations. This role involves developing and implementing sourcing and distribution methods, negotiating competitive pricing, and ensuring compliance with quality management standards. To be responsible for the development and daily management of efficient supply, procurement, and distribution operations within the department.
Regularly review existing systems, plan and develop new sourcing, purchasing, storing, and distribution methods; implement, evaluate, and reorganize the store as necessary.
Establish policies and procedures related to procurement, supply, distribution, and control of materials within the hospital.
Source supplies, negotiate for competitive pricing, and ensure timely delivery of quality and quantity.
Monitor expiry dates to prevent obsolescence of supplies.
Ensure stores are not overstocked and that supplies are sourced, purchased, and delivered on time.
Prepare and issue purchase orders in accordance with hospital policies and financial authority levels.
Submit the Price Notification Form to the Accounts Manager for price changes or new purchases.
Conduct annual evaluations and monitoring of suppliers.
Arrange for scrap disposal of approved assets and condemned items.
Develop customer-focused services aligned with the hospital’s mission.
Prepare statistics and data analysis for decision-making.
Manage the department’s budget.
Lead and supervise department activities, including quality assurance, performance appraisal, and regular meetings.
Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS), monitor its performance, and report to the Divisional Head for continual improvement.
