Your new company

A leading multinational in the FMCG industry is looking for a strategic and competent supply planner to join their supply chain team. The company is a leader in its field and operates regionally out of its offices in Malaysia. Offering stability that stands the test of trying market situations and good career growth.

Your new role

The primary function of this role is to establish and manage supply planning activities and processes, ensuring stock coverage aligns with forecasted demand requirements and agreed stock level targets. This role also involves collaborating with other APAC Supply Planners to share best practices, support tool development, and foster a growth mindset. The objective of this role is to manage the supply plans and orders, identify and communicate deviations from targets, and assist in engaging the business to take corrective actions. This requires maintaining key relationships with our Brand Owner Companies and implementing value-added opportunities to enhance service levels. The role also involves managing SKUs throughout their lifecycles and planning the value-added packings.

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree holder with formal business qualifications or equivalent.
• 5 years' planning experience in the FMCG industry.
• Competency in spoken and written English is a must.
• Exposure to a sales / marketing, operations / inventory planning or finance background.
• Analytical & Planning ability.
• Quality decision-making and problem-solving ability.
  
• Able to work at a fast pace to cope with a fast-changing environment.
• Experience in Demand Planning is an added advantage.
• Good presentation and project management skills.
