Job summary

Ambu in Malaysia (Penang) is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to plan FG and raw material replenishment for company warehouses and direct customer orders, based on capacity, safety stock, and lead times. You will create manufacturing orders, POs for raw materials and outsourced sterilization, and manage delivery orders to warehouses and clients.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years’ experience in manufacturing SCM, strong communication and teamwork, proficiency in English and Bahasa

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing supply chain.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency; Mandarin is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Team player with integrity and commitment.
• Willingness to learn and take responsibilities.
• Able to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Plan FG and raw material replenishment for warehouses and direct customer orders.
• Create Manufacturing Orders, POs for raw materials and outsourced sterilization, and Delivery Orders.
• Follow up with suppliers and expedite deliveries; prepare 12-month material forecast by item.
• Manage FG and raw material inventory to meet goals.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, RA and Logistics to meet customer schedules.

Responsibilities

• Planning for FG and raw material for company warehouses replenishment and also direct customer order, according to available capacity, safety stock level and material leadtime.
• Creation of Manufacturing Orders for production build, Purchase Order to purchase raw material and outsourced sterilization, as well as Delivery Orders for shipment to company warehouses and customer orders.
• Follow up with suppliers and expedite delivery according to production plan, prepare and send 12 months requirement forecast for each material by item numbers.
• Manage FG and raw material inventory to meet inventory goals.
• Interface with key business personnel across all primary functions, e.g. Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, R&D , RA and Logistic to ensure customer schedules are attainable.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in related field in a manufacturing environment with good knowledge in Supply Chain Management.
• Ability to communicate effectively with good interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; knowledge in Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Computer literate and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong team player with high commitment and integrity.
• Willingness to learn and take responsibilities.
• Able to work well under pressure.
