Job summary
A leading food and beverage company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, including sourcing, planning, and supplier management. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree and has 3 years of experience in supply chain, preferably in the F&B or FMCG industry. Responsibilities include managing procurement activities, optimizing supplier performance, and contributing to strategic objectives.

- Manage day-to-day operations of Supply Chain.

- Work with HODs to provide forecasts and projections.
- Perform market surveys to support negotiations.
- Generate procurement data for Annual Budget and Strategic Plan.

Overview
- Manage day-to-day operation of Supply Chain to ensure optimum and uninterrupted supply to outlets.
- Oversee sourcing activities which includes food and beverages, fixtures and equipment.
- Monitor and enable continuous improvement relating to supplier performance and customer service levels; and actively involved in the relevant projects to achieve best quality assurance.
- Responsible for direct material planning and purchase to support optimum stock holding period.
- Work with relevant HODs to plan and provide rolling forecast and projections to vendors for continuity of supply.
- Perform market survey to support negotiations and sourcing activities.
- Generate procurement data / report as required for the development of the Annual Budget, Warehouse Operating Plan, Strategic Plan, etc.
- Contributing to the overall goals and objectives of the supply chain team and the organization.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, or a related field with 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the F&B or FMCG industry.
- Proven experience in forecasting and inventory / demand planning and import-export operations, logistics, or a relevant role.
- Knowledge of customs regulations and experience with customs clearance procedures.
- Adaptability with willingness to learn, able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
