Job description

Supply Chain Program Manager (IC Manufacturing – Subcon Operations)

We are seeking a highly experienced and driven professional to lead the end-to-end supply chain and production coordination for new IC products at subcontractor (Subcon) sites. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supplier management, production planning, and shipment coordination across the Asia Pacific region.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the supply chain process for new IC products, including sourcing, purchasing, planning, and shipping to Subcon sites.
  2. Evaluate, select, and develop suppliers, including negotiating terms and implementing supplier development strategies.
  3. Coordinate with Subcon partners to ensure smooth production and timely shipments; provide support with customs clearance when necessary.
  4. Oversee and manage production planning from small-scale sample builds through to full mass production.
  5. Act as the project lead for IC production in Penang, ensuring successful delivery to customers across Asia Pacific (e.g., India, China).
  6. Monitor and review supplier performance regularly, providing feedback and driving improvements to optimize the vendor base.

Requirements:

  1. Advanced Diploma, Bachelor's, or Master’s Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  2. At least 10–15 years of relevant experience in the semiconductor or OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test) environment.
  3. Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) and hands-on experience with semiconductor supply chain operations.
  4. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, particularly with partners in Taiwan, China, and India.
