Job summary

Plexus in Penang, Malaysia, seeks a senior supply chain professional to lead the vision of supply chain solutions with a focus on visibility and analytics. You will understand customer needs, define and prioritize the product roadmap, and drive adoption of solutions with site and regional support.

The role emphasizes pricing strategies, risk mitigation, and strategic material cost reductions in collaboration with Global and Regional Sourcing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 6 or more years of related experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Formulate, model, and set optimal material pricing to align with account objectives and Plexus’ financial goals.
• Assist in development of quoting strategies and opportunity plans to increase win rates and revenue growth.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize supply chain disruptions and ensure business continuity.
• Lead strategic material cost reductions utilizing Global and Regional Sourcing, Supply Chain, and ENG Solutions, considering material pricing, current market, and customer negotiated conditions.
• Promote Plexus’ Supply Chain as a solution provider for existing customers and new business opportunities.

Purpose Statement:

In this position you will lead the vision of supply chain solutions that enable transformative visibility and transparency of data and analytics. In this role, you will deeply understand the needs of customers, define and prioritize the customer product roadmap, and will be ultimately responsible for the adoption of these solutions with site/region support.

Key Job Accountabilities:

Education/Experience Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree with 6 or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.

Physical Requirements:

• Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment. Minimal physical activity is generally involved, emphasizing the importance of good posture and ergonomic workplace arrangements.

Travel Requirements:

• Less than 40%
