Supply Chain Planning & Inventory Manager

Responsibilities
  1. Interface with Business Office, Production, Procurement, Planning, and customers to develop, validate, and communicate production and shipment plans aligning with business goals.
  2. Participate in Master Planning reviews and procurement actions through the MRP process.
  3. Coordinate with planning on customer requirements and changes, assessing costs and feasibility.
  4. Ensure alternative sourcing to maintain supply continuity and support customer costs.
  5. Resolve issues with customers and internal teams, managing customer relationships from a supply chain perspective.
  6. Gather and share customer SCM feedback; champion improvements and communicate action plans.
  7. Manage AOS and CTB processes.
  8. Maintain in-depth understanding of global supply chain operations, Celestica's policies, and stakeholder needs.
  9. Understand specific customer business, products, and processes.
  10. Comprehend the Engineering Change Note (ECN) process and related actions.
  11. Utilize computer systems effectively to gather and present information.
  12. Communicate SCM activities clearly to customers and internal teams.
  13. Apply analysis and judgment to assess performance and set priorities.
  14. Interface cross-functionally with buyers, planners, and operations teams.
  15. Conduct supply simulation and scenario studies for Clear To Build (CTB) materials.
  16. Knowledge of SAP and Kinaxis Rapid Response systems is advantageous.
Experience & Education
  • 8-12 years of relevant experience in material planning and purchasing.
  • Experience in a contract manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience and education.
