The Supply Chain Planning team is responsible for securing materials used in Zebra’s operations. Supply requirements are moderated by the team to ensure that inventory positions are appropriate to meet the demand requirements relative to forecasted levels, inventory on order and in transit from regional distribution centers, product life-cycle, quality and special customer requirements and/or projects. The team cooperates with Global Demand Planners, Buyers, Operations, Order Management, Logistics, Finance, Helpdesk, and Customer Experience Management teams.

The Supply Chain Planner II plays a key role in the team. Besides standard materials planning responsibilities, the person is expected to participate in continuous improvement activities of materials management processes and project management work.

Responsibilities

  1. Support and actively participate in deployment of supply chain model within region.
  2. Plan and develop supply schedule to keep sufficient inventory positions to support material requirements of internal or external customers.
  3. Regularly review and adjust demand plan with internal stakeholders.
  4. Apply Zebra’s procedures to resolve issues and mitigate constraints impacting supply plan including capacity, transportation, and order-management errors.
  5. Monitor open purchase orders to ensure on-time deliveries; partner with internal team to resolve any admin/order error(s).
  6. Escalate shortages within the broader supply chain organization and work to support resolution.
  7. Develop and maintain strong working relationships and communications with key cross-functional stakeholders to confirm production/shipping schedules.
  8. Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed.
  9. Participate in cross-functional projects as a representative of the supply chain function.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Business, Supply Chain, Finance or related field preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience.
  • International Supply Chain experience in service and/or manufacturing is a plus.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Oracle knowledge is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
